When you text in a file in EDITOR, it copies the file to a work file and
closes the text file.  If you have ever seen files with a file type of
EDITQ, that's an EDITOR work file.  When you KEEP the file, it essentially
purges and rebuilds the original file, and copies the work file back to the
new file.  That's why the creation date changed, it really is a new file.
