O.K., Sports Fans: As advertised last Friday (and only two
days late), attached find complete SIGImage/SQL TurboIMAGE
Ballot after cranking in additions / updates from SIG-3000
and HPW-Chicago; and after SIG meeting consensus sending
six QUERY items to the "B list" ("B list" effectively
"becomes disappeared" in current situation).

Given that real-world window for getting CSY to finish work
on additional IMAGE enhancements is likely <= 18 months at
best, obviously most of the following will never get done
by HP. But wanted to present the complete list to entire
user community once more; before making an effort to prune
it down (entire list will be saved somewhere; for the
possibility that "other entities" might be able to continue
enhancing and supporting MPE and IMAGE after HP "end of
sales" in 2003 (EOS03) & "end of support" in 2006 (EOL06).

Interex has indicated that the system for voting on the web
from last year is still in place, so that we could do a
quick web-based vote to narrow this list down to the <= 7
TurboIMAGE items that was suggested we send forward to the
next SIB round (coming up real soon).

Before we do even that, I solicit *immediate* responses via
email to hp3000-L, copy direct to me, on suggestions for
which of the following items should be moved to the "B list"
without even voting on them; and for completely new items
that you feel are worthy of being added in light of EOS03
and EOL06. If I get calls for "B listing" an item and
nobody speaks up to "save" it, it will most likely drop off
the list. Due to time and other constraints, I can only
allow THIRTY-SIX HOURS from right now (21:00 hours Tuesday
04 December 2001 US PST) for comments on adds / deletes /
modifications. FAIR WARNING: If I don't hear anything at
all, I will use my own judgment and discretion on which
additional items to drop prior to SIB (several will go).

Note one "quick and easy" solution would be to just go with
the 10 items that were sent forward to the 2001 SIB plus the
two new items; for a TurboIMAGE vote prior to SIB. But
given EOS03 and EOL06, I'm reluctant to limit the voting
that way.

Note following text-only list is best viewed with fixed-font
for column align (uses max 68-character line).

SIDEBAR: Yes, I know: There is also the HPSQL Ballot...
We'll do one if we get time; can only do so much along with
"real work"; TurboIMAGE items would seem to have priority.

** THIS is NOT the final TurboIMAGE 2002 Ballot:
Vote scheduled on web "soon". **

These items have NOT been committed to by HP.
"02 #" column is 2002-only tracking #.
"SIB ID" is Interex System Improvement Ballot #.
(L)ow - (M)edium - (H)igh under "Lab Eff(ort)" is
         ROM estimate of implementation effort.
"To SIB" column indicates whether or not this item was
sent forward to the Interex 2001 SIB.

02 Lab To
