Who wants the serial number?  If it is a software company, they probably want the HPSUSAN.
SHOWVAR HPSUSAN
If it is a hardware company, they probably want BOTH, the physical and the HPSUSAN.

Is there a way to locate the serial number for a HP3000 system without physically being able to see it. Is there a file, like the HPSWINFO file,  that could contain this information? Thank you.
