Instead of us asking for something that HP says can't be done, why don't we ask
for a suitable replacement for HP-IB based printing?  My vote is on HP writing a
printer driver for the parallel port that is on the same card as the
single-ended SCSI card.  The port works fine for UNIX-driven printers so it
shouldn't be that tough to write a driver for MPE/iX-driven printers.  That way
we're sticking with an industry-wide interface and getting full use of the
add-on interface cards that we buy.  What do you think?
