You are completely misinterpreting the nature of Time's "Man of the Year."
Joseph Stalin was named to that "honor" twice, once in 1939 and again in
1942. Nikita Krushchev was given similar honors in 1957, as was the Ayatullah
Khomeini in 1979. Added to that distinguished list were the two George Bushes
in 1990. Perhaps most ominous, "The Computer" was chosen in 1982.
