This is actually one of my pet peeves.  I've seen *source code* that
hard-coded
such a beast.  And what happens when you innocently list the file to the
screen
(because you want to see what's in the file) ??

On occasion, I've also used

   %print @.cmd; end=5; keepamdates

to jog my memory for what the command files do.  (I usually have comments
in the first line or three.)

PLEASE consider using an alternate technique.
