Octcomp on a program

Playing around and trying to see if we can boost the performance of QueryCalc a bit by octcomping the CM program and getting the following error:

QCPROGS AICS:octcomp qcx,qcxoct
*** OCTCOMP: Start translation of qcx from QCPROGS.AICS.

oct error:Init_Output_File:Cseg=0 PC=0: Can't open file.

 Seems like last century since I used this and never had any problems way back then. Does anyone know what the error means and how to correct it.
