If anybody out there is thinking of joining the MPE porting club ;-) and is
wondering how many changes were required to get a major package like Perl
running on MPE, you can see every change I had to make against the official
Perl 5.004_01 distribution at:

The patches contained above have been submitted to the perl5-porters for
comment and will probably be modified somewhat prior to their inclusion into
the official distribution.
