Hi all,

I've googled for this but come up blank, wonder if anyone else has any ideas.

We've a couple of MPE maestro masters connecting to several MPE slaves. Every so often during the dayswitch process maestro fails to start on the master giving the following error :

(O)10:59/#J4843/161/MAILMAN:10:59/+

(O)10:59/#J4843/161/MAILMAN:10:59/+ Error creating BATCHMAN.MAESTRO.CCC, Error number

(O)10:59/#J4843/161/MAILMAN:10:59/+ CREATEPROCESS error 16: 'Hard' load error (e.g. I/O erro

(O)10:59/#J4843/161/MAILMAN:10:59/+ [1061.116] [2073.3]

(O)10:59/#J4843/161/MAILMAN:10:59/+

(O)10:59/#J4843/161/MAILMAN:10:59/#J0/Operator command: STOP [2073.18]

This causes BATCHMAN to logoff with a program terminated in an error state. Can't see an obvious reason for it and a start in maestro followed by a link @ brings the maestro network back to life. This doesn't happen every day, and it's a simple fix to bring it back to life, just would like to know what's causing it so I can elimiate the problem. So far I've put in place some pauses in the JNEXTDAY as I thought the stop / start / link was happening too quickly in the daily process and perhaps some of the processes weren't dying before they restarted, this hasn't worked.

Any ideas anyone ?

TIA.

Nige...
