Hi all,

The new search engine doesn't have useful online help, so here's how
to do 3 things in Boolean searches:

   1) near

put the word "near" in "<" ">"... as in:

           subsystem <near> dump

You can control how near <near> is:

           subsystem <near/3> dump

(note: due to quantum variations in the KDB, your results searching
for the above two items may vary from mine ... I found several
      yesterday, but none today!)

BTW, I don't know what the number means yet...is it number of words?
Sentences? Lines? Nor do I know how to say "I want "dump" to
occur *after* "subsystem" and not before it"!

   2) not

Unlike some search engines, it appears that you say "not"
      instead of "and not".

      E.g., subsystem not dump

   3) partial words

You can use a "*" as a word completer:

            subsys*
