From which we may posit that one should have one's best employees involved
in the interview process, and give their evaluations at least as much weight
as those who do not do that job.

Years ago, I walked into an interview for a COBOL programming position. The
first question in the technical interview was "name the seven layers of the
OSI networking model" (which is, grammatically, not a question). This still
puzzles me.
