[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 3 Jul 2002 05:57:36 -0700459_iso-8859-1 Morning,

I have a share in Samba that I created. I connect to it and supply a user
and password.

Another user across the country connects to the same share with the same
userid and password
and only gets READ access.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ray

I also wanted to mention that you can download a free utility to help you
manage these DBTC and DBEATC files.
www.hicomp.com/dbtune.htm

The latest version runs on 6.5 and 7.0.

Subject: database file missing

if i look at a database using dbutil and show db all the following message
is at the bottom
WARNING: Root file ATC flag is on, but CRDBTC file is missing.

what is the TC file and how do i recreate it or reset the flag for the
database?

i tried to use dbutil to detach the database but since the tc file does not
exist the detach fails.
>>detach crdb

WARNING: Root file ATC flag is on, but CRDBTC file is missing,
           cannot DETACH.

what can i do now
