Yes. Only on an N-class machine. AFAIK, as long at it is a FWSCSI
interface, a DLT can be a boot device for either A-class or N-class - BUT
NOT for any K-class or earlier HP3000.

No. But, according to the HPe3000 Business Servers Configuration Guide,
March 2000 edition, page 4-111, only the SE DLT4000 tape drive (as opposed
to any FWSCSI-connected DLT drive) enjoys DLT boot support.
