Obviously there are lots of areas of contention in this issue.  Perhaps we
could prevail upon Interex to manage the balloting in the way that they did
for the SIB:  A web site containing the proposals, with arguments in favor
written by each proposal's champion, and the ability for others to post
rebuttals or questions, and finally a ballot with weighted voting.  Only a
thorough process like this will be useful for assessing the degree of
consensus for any given proposal.
