We've recently updated the structure of our main database to include more
than 1024 items (previously the limit before 6.5). One of our customers
uses ODBC to access this database on their system, which from my
understanding means that we have to attach the database to an Image/SQL
DBE. Unfortunately I also understand from HP that Image/SQL was not
updated to handle more items. When attempting to connect the database, I
get the error message 'Unknown Error. Escapecode - 786632 (ATCERR 32401)',
which I believe is due to the the number of items. I've tried creating a
new maintenance word/user class which only has permissions on a limited
number of sets & items, and used MAINT= in my SET TURBODB command when
running IMAGESQL to connect. However, it still wants to process all of
the items.

HP suggested moving all items which are keys up in the item list (<1024),
and this seems to work. However, we use Speedware which uses field and
item numbers. We would have to do coordinated DB updates with a software
release for a few hundred databases on our system and on about a dozen of
our customers' systems.

My TurboImage experience is extensive, but my knowledge of Image/SQL is
limited. Are my assumptions so far correct? Has anyone else run into this
situation and/or have a workaround?
