I finally found my installation CD so I could hook up the HP1150C
(ALL-IN-ONE color copier printer scanner)  that I had
attached to my Compaq computer to the new Gateway computer that I got a
couple of months ago.

After installation, my new Gateway now acts like my old Compaq, in that the
performance sucks.
The cursor movement is jerky, and I was in Eudora typing an email before I
accessed the internet, and the
character display was 3 or 4 characters behind my typing.

Other than adding fonts for testing QCTERM, this printer is the only change
I've made on this computer,
and the performance seemed to degrade very soon after the installation.

Now I don't see solitare on this list.   SO what game is my computer
playing, instead of doing work for me??
Is there anyway to get better performance?
