You may wish to check out the update to DiskCopy found at
http://www.powerquest.com/downlwd/index1xdc.html.  I believe this problem
was fixed.  Anyways if your version is earlier than 1.02, you need to
upgrade it.  It's free at the URL above.

I have recently transferred a 1GB EIDE drive to a 4GB EIDE drive using my
laptop, and it worked just fine.

I've NEVER gotten DriveCopy to work on my NTFS partitions on SCSI
drives. I tried to copy a 1GB to a 4GB and no dice. I had to resort to
the manual way. DriveCopy kept creating a 1GB partition on my 4GB drive.
