You're looking at this quite wrongly, Gary. CTSM wasn't put into MPE to make
life easier or more simple for you. No, no, no. Rather, it is a gift from
God. It serves as a form of self-flagellation, as was common in the medieval
Catholic Church. It's not only there to remind you that although you live in
an earthly paradise now, but also that you're only one or two poor decisions
away from toiling daily in Hell itself.

CTSM was imported from UNIX as your daily reminder of what you *could* be
experiencing in everything you do, rather than in these few trivial tasks.

CTSM is a blessing, my son, not a curse.
