We are doing a put from an HP9000 to an HP3000 and the file is truncating at
80 bytes. The solution appears to be entering a "rec=" parameter after the
put, from file, to file. The problem is that this appears to be an MPE
parameter and the put from the 9000 is sent to an ES9000 and an AS/400 and the
9000 folks want the ftp process generic across all platforms. The IBM
machines are not happy with the rec= parameter

Is there another way to put an 80+ record length file to the 3000? You can
answer privately if you like. TIA Allan Chalmers, Thomas Lighting
