Joe,

it will NOT work!

My experience is that a direct access to LOGGLOB files is always only
possible out of a MeasureWare Agent running on the same OS the LOGGLOB
reside, but never platform overlapping.
So, PerfViewNT is able to access all NT servers running Scope Collector but
never HP-UX or MPE/iX systems running Scope Collector. To access UX or MPE
performance data out of NT you must perform always a EXTRACT on the UX or
MPE system.

I explained this in an earlier posting today (but is still not delievered
...). I forgot to mention there that I also have some UX extraction scripts
...

Best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

YES! Samba/iX should work well here, as the LOGGLOB file would be
accessible
from a "mapped" network drive. The only problem would be if the format of
the file was such that it could not be read properly.
(Since I don't have Perfview, I can't test this, but on the surface, it
should work)
