We saw a problem like this when we connected to a new Parent company.
Turned out the problem was that the data packets were taking variant
paths because more than one was available. One packet would go directly
from GA to NC but the packet after it might go frm GA to NJ and then to
NC. The slowness was caused by massive collisions and out-of-sequence
packets because of the different timings.
