Gavin,
You can take me with you in a pine box. I'm fighting to the end :)
Thanx,
Jon
PS Although I must admit that I do own a 9000 :(

While there is the comp.sys.hp.hpux newsgroup, and maybe a 9000
administrator's list (somewhere?), these tend to be rather different from
the 3000 list in, um, "atmosphere" and "friendliness" I would say.
I wonder if there might not be enough 9000 users among the 3000 list readers
to start an HP9000-L list that is made up mostly of ex- or current 3000
users and which would try to maintain the same level of quality (and
demeanor) of postings that 3000-L gets.
Especially if Jeff has enough 9000s around to make him willing to host such
a list.
This is also appealing because one of the dilemmas that comes up when I
ponder the possibility of some day leaving the 3000 world is that of how to
take the rest of you with me :-)
