My old Asus Router RT-86U has DDNS services for free.  Register with asuscomm.com
So to access my site,  xxxxx.asuscomm.com    I can chose the name as long as it is not taken.

FWIW, I woke up with power this morning and the Empire machine is back up.

Keven Miller's program that seeks out and finds my home internet's IP
and ties it to the domain name helps.  It also runs every hour in case
my provider does a reset.  (It is residential and has a tendency to
change on a whim.)
