Tony,

At the start of the game what are the odds that you get the right door?  What are the odds that the other person has the right door in the (n-1) group of doors?  Would you switch?

Forget about which door gets opened at what point, it doesn't matter.  It is a red herring to make it seem like the odds are changed, but they really aren't.
