Let's see:

1. HP used to (and may still) offer a product called Resource Sharing. As I
recall it was basically LanManager 1.x and the PC clients were able to
access files on the HP3000's drives as thought it was a PC file server.
Note, however, that (as far as I know) the PC clients could only access
files which resided in the Resource Sharing domain on the HP3000 -- i.e. the
couldn't access files in, say, PUB.SYS.

2. There's NetWare/iX. I haven't got any experience with this, but it's my
impression that the same restriction applies here as with Resource Sharing:
only files in the NetWare domain on the HP3000 can be accessed by the
clients.

3. NFS from Quest (714/720-1434) permits the HP3000 to be used as an NFS
server; I would imagine that you'd then be able to access any file on the
HP3000.

Regards.
