that they raise serious questions about school
budget priorities.
"The people in admissions want to leverage whatever
they can to enhance the school's appeal to
prospective students," Skill said. "And that often
translates into who can give away the most toys and
gadgets. But we really have to be careful in how we
justify the added cost when we continually raise
tuition and fees."
