I have some tapes I'm trying to read (they happen to be unlabelled DAT2's
created on a Dec oops Compaq oops HP Alpha) which seem to have huge blocks.
I can see the beginning of each of these via

:file t;dev=9;rec=-100
:fcopy from=*t;to=;char;hex

and I can see a lot more of them via

:file t;dev=9;rec=-16384
or
:file t;dev=9;rec=-256,32
etc.

I'm pretty sure I'm running into an MPE (6.0) blocksize limitation of 32768
bytes, so I'm hoping: Does anybody here know how to see the recs beyond
that point?
