Steve,

We do have a performance problem whenever we do a store/restore. You
currently can only use one channel for communicating with the HPe3000.
This does create a bottleneck. We have a work around using the ARM
server utilities to set the 12h in HighPerformance whenever we do a
restore and then reset it to SingleController when the restore has
completed.
We currently have 200-220 users who access this system and are
constantly access the drives. We haven't had a big problem with
response issues for day to day functions by end users.
I've heard rumors that HP will eventually allow us to use both
controllers thus creating 2 paths for the data to flow through.
