I would agree with that but that's not what HP was(is?) doing. It's kinda
like a car manufacturer refusing to cover warranty work on car brakes,
suspension, upholstry, paint finish, etc etc just because you used some
unapproved brand of gas. Laser printer problems have little to do with
refilled toner cartridges and any problem with a toner cartridge is easily
identifiable by swapping out the cartridge. I doubt that anyone even cares
about a warranty now with cheap inkjets - the warranty lasts longer than the
cartridge but who cares if you ditch the printer when the cartridge runs out.
