2. How large of an application does it support?
Here at the University of Illinois at Springfield,
formerly Sangamon State University, we use
Allbase (and the accompanying 4GL) to
support the student records system (registrar,
grades, transcripts, course schedule, the works).
We have about 6000 students and Allbase works
very well.
3. Powerhouse is not used here due to budgetary
problems thus we are a COBOL and BRW shop,
with TurboImage and KSAM for the other systems,
and a fair amount of legacy code in SPL and FORTRAN.
