good idea; unfortunately, the program is written for the MPE/V spooler, and
comes with caveats re running on anything else. This was contributed at New
Orleans (92). so we're still looking for CCTL-to-ASCII forms control
translation!

here's a snip from the docs at CSL...
File = CCTLANSI.DOC
This program was written for Classic HP3000s running MPE/VE Platform
1P. It will most likely cause a SYSTEM FAILURE!!! if run on a non-
MPE/VE cpu. There is no safety checking in the program as to
which version of MPE or cpu type it is run on.
The program is written mostly in Pascal with some SPL.
