From my HP e3000 900 Series Computer Systems Configuration Guide:

OpenView System Manager
(For reference only-discontinued as of November 1999)

Description
Using HP OpenView System Manager (SysMgr), you can manage, monitor, and
control multiple HP e3000
systems from one central console in both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide
Area Networks (WANs). The
HP OpenView PC-based System Manager is a subset of the System Manager
solution. It provides the Graphical
User Interface for managing a single MPE/iX system. The SysMgr PC software
(B.00.01) can co-exist with
HP OpenView DTC Manager on the same PC.

Required:
HP OpenView System Manager PC Software (B4958AA)
System Manager HP 3000 Management Node Component (required) 36936A
NS3000/iX Network Services (36920A/B)
System Manager HP 3000 Managed Node Component (optional) 36937A or 36938A

Regards

Fred Metcalf

Subject: what is #36936a Open View System Manager

Can someone please help me find out what
Hp part # 36936a Open View System Manager is or does?
I have looked at HP's Open View web stuff and see no mention
of MPE/iX.
