Hello,

I need to create flat files using Quiz/Qtp to extract data from an Image
database that will be imported into another system. Character fields are not
a problem but with numeric and date fields I have to covert them into
strings in the following way:

DEFINE CHAR-BDATE CHAR*8 = ASCII( BIRTH-DATE , 8 )

Is there a way to skip this step and get Powerhouse to create the flat file
with numerics and dates stored as strings?

Thanks,
Stefan
