To work under inetd the apps are gonna have to be written using BSD calls
(vs NetIPC) (unless they work out some really nifty tricks for NetIPC). As
it stands ftp uses NetIPC I believe; dunno if they're doing inbound telnet
using NetIPC or BSD? Further, I don't know if the inbound-telnet server's
gonna wanna run under DSDAD or something as opposed to under a (semi)user
process like inetd.
 
I too hope they implement the inbound telnet so that it's compatible with
inetd though, as that would make it MUCH more useable (and secure).
 
Someday, if Eero has time perhaps he'll rewrite VTSERVER for us to run under
inetd too! ;-) ;-) ;-)
