HI ...

I'll throw in my $0.02 and say that I started Disaster Recovery, now called
Business Resumption with a company called UPTime. They provided a mobile
solution. They would drive a HP3K, DTCs, Printers and Terminals in the
back of an 18 Wheeler, pulling along a Diesel Generator to our IBM Hotsite
in Illinois. Then we would FDDI attach to the IBM to send and receive
data. We would roll out phone lines to the truck. The HP3K did its
recovery in the back of an 18 Wheeler. (anyone ever to that?) UPtime was
bought out by SunGard about 5/6 years ago and SunGard still provides a
mobile solution, as you can see from their advertisements. We've out grown
their mobile solution and now have a HOT site with SunGard in Philadelphia
and a HOT site with another vendor for the IBM over in New Jersey. We now
use a T3 instead of the FDDI. SunGard has a great facility. From the
outside, you would never think there's a Data Center inside. They've got
everything you would ever need to recover an HP3K. I highly recommend
them. They'll do anything to help make your Business Resumption a success!

Juan

I concur with Lee and Jeff...and everybody else. SunGard has what it
takes,
for a decent price. I've been approached by a few other vendors after I
wrote on this subject before on HP3000-L, but having never used these
services, I can't speak for them first hand.
