O.K. two brain farts.  Can't have more than 7 logical drives.

And you can't split the SCSI, (and use them) on MPE.

Best I can do, is use the other port as an alternate 
configuration in case of SCSI card failure.

For normal mirrors, that leaves 6 unused drives, I'll
have to switch to Raid 1/0 for better drive utilization.
