Turns out to be "Not having the TZ variable set"
and system defaulting to EST. Does not effect
operation, so I never noticed until this discussion
started.

What causes me some (little, but some) concern is the *CTIME
function return* at the bottom of the [SHOWCLKS] results. Is
one of the clocks in my system running an hour or so off?
