Tom,

The problem you have described was a problem with the older version of
odbclink. Both the odbcse (HP) and odbclink (MB Foster) version 5.56 had
the problem.


This problem is a known problem with E.56.12 of ODBCLINK/SE.  It has been
seen when the query request is very large.  The solution to the problem is
to update to E.58 or later of the product.

Work Around:

Decrease the size of the query.

Modify the timeout values (see KBRC00001537)
