You missed the point.  :)  Actually, I think you were being humourous, and
*chose* to miss the point, but still...

Your argument is invalid.  You suggest that if an assertion is made based on
a piece of information that is later disproven, the original argument should
be retracted.  You are correct, but that is not what happened here.

The movie shows what happens if a person whose activity level is that of the
average american eats nothing but McDonalds food for one month.  The website
does not say that if a person whose normal activity level is that of the
average american eats nothing but McDonalds food for one month, that
different results will occur.  The referenced website attempts to spin the
facts in a way that is not as negative, but only in the same way as saying
"if you smoke ultralight cigarattes, you'll ingest less tar and nicotine".

Having more salads on the menu, and quoting a statistic that the "average
customer" would need six years to consume that many meals at McDonalds, in
no way changes the facts presented in the documentary: namely, what happens
to a person whose activity level is that of the average american when he
eats nothing but McDonalds food for one month.
