Thanks Ken Vickers,

you're right about needing the newer Superdex version. You're also right
about SQLUTIL. It's right there in plain English "PURGEDBE" and "PURGEALL".
I must start reading the manuals more carefully *again* :)

You also say that TPI's can dramatically improve access. So TPI's are
recognized as indexes by IMAGE/SQL and can be used as such. Most
interesting !
