I believe MPE will respond to any community name *unless* you configure one
in SNMOCONF.NET.SYS. I believe the snmpudc.net.sys provides udcs s to
commands that can start, stop, and update snmp, etc. There are also snmp get
and getnext type commands to walk a MIB.
Also, there is a MPE specific MIB. It should be included in the packages of
HP MIBs on HP's network support site. MPE supports it and many of the generic
system and networking MIBs.
