Ldev 1 can be greater than 4 gig.  It's just that any thing over 4 gig will
not be used (i.e. wasted).

Just a quick correction to the statement.  You should only install a
maximum of a 4 gig drive as ldev 1.  Ldev 1 cannot be greater than 4 gig.
