Thank you for informing us Alfredo of this loss to both Fred's family and our community on here.
I remember meeting Fred at a RUG meeting decades ago.... He was an unforgettable guy!

Subject: %043127 just had his bits turned off
Fred White just passed away surrounded by his loving family.
I wonder how many IMAGE/3000 databases (and TurboIMAGE, and IMAGE/SQL) in the world have had, have, and will continue to have the %043127 flag. This includes databases residing in all kinds of backup media.
Alfredo
P.S.
For non-bits-and-bytes folks who may not be familiar with the legendary early story of MPE, %043127 is the octal representation of "FW" - the flag for a normal IMAGE/3000 database (and TurboIMAGE, and IMAGE/SQL).
