Al -
1) What are the issues with ODBCLink/SE (tm) and your Image database - having
been involved with it for over 5 years I might be able to help ...
2) Did you ask the response center - that is what you are spending support
dollars on Image/SQL for ... ODBCLink/SE (tm) is bundled with Image/SQL.
3) In the ODBCLink Manual you will find a form which will allow you to get a
demo of DataExpress just by faxing the request to (613) 448-2588 ...
4) DataExpress for client server (see http://www.MBFoster.com) will support
virtually any file on the HP3000 for ODBC access including Powerhouse and
DataExpress self describing files, KSAM etc.
I am not sure what problem you are trying to solve but you may find that
DataExpress fits the bill as more than JUST an ODBC driver - as the "Swiss Army
Knife" (tm) of dta extraction ... a complete solution including the ability to
join with data bases on an NT server like Oracle or SQL7.
For more detail just drop me a note ...
Best Regards,
Birket
