Jon, thanks for you response. Just for your information I have contacted my
System Support Manager and have sent him a number of our Laser RX files to
examine. I expect to be getting some feed back from him sometime around the
second week in March when he is planning on paying us a visit. In the
meantime I wanted to see if this "perception" was an anomoly that only I was
experiencing. While 5.0 does offer a number of nice extras including network
services I did not expect to see such a drastic change in the time it takes
for my batch jobs to run. I'll let the group know what my SSE's findings are
when they come out. Until then we're satisfied but curious.
