Hi,
I am Shashi from CSY lab Bangalore, INDIA.
I have verified the problem on 2 machines running MPE/iX 5.5
machine 1:
---------
Running MPE/iX 5.5 with PP6 & Express 3
& also has all the Y2K patches above PP6.
I have tried to schedule
the job & it schedules at the specified time.
Showjob output is as shown below
#S1189 EXEC 42 42 WED 3:56P RSENTHIL,MGR.RSKDSP60
#S1199 EXEC 17 17 THU 9:28A SHASHI,MGR.SHASHI55
38 JOBS:
0 INTRO
0 WAIT; INCL 0 DEFERRED
38 EXEC; INCL 35 SESSIONS
0 SUSP
JOBFENCE= 7; JLIMIT= 100; SLIMIT= 100
CURRENT: 3/ 9/00 9:46
JOBNUM STATE IPRI JIN JLIST SCHEDULED-INTRO JOB NAME
#J470 SCHED 8 10S LP 3/ 9/00 10:00 SHASHI,MGR.SHASHI60
1 SCHEDULED JOB(S)
Machine 2:
----------
running RELEASE: C.55.00 MPE/iX HP31900 C.05.08 USER VERSION: C.55.00
:stream tjob1;at=11:10
Specified time is earlier than or at the current time.
job(s) will be STREAMed immediately. (CIWARN 6355)
#J4
:showjob
JOBNUM STATE IPRI JIN JLIST INTRODUCED JOB NAME
#S32 EXEC 4 4 THU 10:52A SHASHI,MANAGER.SYS
#J4 EXEC 10S LP THU 10:57A SHASHI,MANAGER.SYS
5 JOBS:
0 INTRO
0 WAIT; INCL 0 DEFERRED
5 EXEC; INCL 3 SESSIONS
0 SUSP
JOBFENCE= 7; JLIMIT= 60; SLIMIT= 60
So the Y2K safe date intrinsics were introduced in 5.5 at the Power
Patch 4. According to the release team here the Power Patch 6 is better,
contails the superseded patches. So the Power Patch 6(PP6) should solve
the problem.
regards
shashi
