Gilles,
I recently was innocently "looking" at my configuration with NMMGR and
"sorta" messed up the validation flags :) ooooppppsss

When I downed the box to move a power cable... the DTC's wouldn't talk to my
957... got some DTC's invalid type errors...

I did a cross validation in NMMGR and the DTC download occurred properly...DTC
then came up...

Don't know if this will help????

We are trying to put together a 9x7 system - together with some DTC's
(MPE/iX version 4.0).

Upon each system boot, we experience a "DCC STARTUP - ERROR" after seeing
the following error message for each configured DTC logical device number:

DCC ERROR 103-4, (HLIO status FFE000E7, ldev nnn). (DCCERR=6)

I recall that HP used to (and perhaps still does) sell systems without DTC
functionality, including networking software to permit VT access.

Can anyone tell me if this is why we are experiencing this problem?

Also, how to recognize such a DTC-challenged system (other than seeing the
aforementioned errors)?

Finally, assuming this is indeed the problem, how does one go about enabling
DTC access for this system together with approximate cost?
