for entries from vendors and solution suppliers, and ready for your
searches. It's free to use, and free to list. It's SolutionStore 3000,

But before you create a listing, check our listings that are already
online, to see if our editors have already included you. We've posted more
than 570 entries, but we know we've only begun to gather the bounty of HP
3000 application, product and service information. If you're a supplier and
spot anything that needs an update in your Free Listing (we've done our
best to work with available information), drop us a line in the Feedback
Section of SolutionStore.

SolutionStore 3000, operated by the 3000 NewsWire, helps HP 3000 customers
and prospects find the products and services they need. It also gives 3000
vendors and service providers a place to post listings of their products
and services. This directory of solutions is all related to HP 3000s, so a
search there will only deliver products relevant for HP 3000s.

You can search by Company Name, Product Name, Category, Price Range,
Geographic Location, and if applicable, the type of Clients Supported
(Windows, Mac,Terminal-based, etc.)

We're grateful for the help of 3k Associates' Chris Bartram, the pioneer in
this field with the oldest free vendor directory on the Web. We'd also like
to thank the many HP 3000 vendors who have encouraged us to keep our oldest
promise to create a solution directory (We promised this in 1995 when we
launched the NewsWire. It feels great to get the oldest item off our to-do
list.)

Created by our friends at BizNetTech.net, the site uses IMAGE/SQL and
Allbase/SQL databases, tied to an NT Web server (we needed secure Web
access for credit card capabilities) to create a report of vendors and
service providers which match your queries. Entries include vendors' Web
links as a minimum, in cases where a company operates a Web site.

In addition to free listings, our site also will accept Paid listings in a
few weeks, at levels starting at $99 yearly, which will provide more
product detail. Some levels of paid listings will qualify for links to
related 3000 NewsWire articles. We believe this hybrid of paid and free
listings provides the best e-service to the 3000 community. If you know of
a solution that should be on SolutionStore 3000, you can nominate it. Send
us a note in our Feedback area, and our editors will get it included as a
Free Listing.

We'll also publish the SolutionStore contents twice a year in paper.

We'd like to consider the next few weeks of service a public beta test with
our friends and allies, the HP 3000 customer and solution supplier
community. Enjoy the site, and give us your comments to help us balance
loads. We want to make SolutionStore a great tool to use -- a resource
that's all-3000, all the time.
