Offhand, I'd suspect this as the culprit: (de-htmlified in case anyone's
reader tries to execute it... ;) )

  [SCRIPT language="javascript"]
       function PopUpAdWindow(filename) {
                 var URL,AdWindow
                 URL = "http://www.3kworld.com/" + filename
                 AdWindow = window.open(URL,'','toobar=no,location=no,
                 directories=no,status=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,
                 copyhistory=no,width=243,height=330,left=100,top=100,
                 titlebar=no')
                AdWindow.opener = window.self
                AdWindow.focus()
       }

       PopUpAdWindow('popup.html')
  [/SCRIPT]

it pops up an "ad" window prompting you to customize your 3k experience [or
words to that effect] You mentioned using Netscape -- I'll ask the
obligitory "have you tried with Microsoft's product?" knowing full well you
probably avoid it like the plague [and some will say "and rightly so!"]
Admittedly, the onus is still on the folks at 3kworld to make a "browser
neutral" page, or better still, deliver "customized" pages based on the
browser utilized [i.e., a netscape specific and an ie specific, and possibly
even a lynx specific for those of you enamored of the raw speed pure text
has to offer... ;) ]
