Hello Friends:

Gaviin Scott noted about this week's nationwide TV show covering the HP 3000:

>In the past HP provided free video tapes of their HP3000 related tele-
>conferences, done by George S. and company, to anyone who wanted them.
>
>Perhaps HP could be persuaded to do the same for this program?

Gavin has a great idea here. It's been a long time since the HP 3000 got
any video time, after a period when four MPE teleconferences a year were
the norm. This should be something HP would want to promote, to show the
3000 is entering the mainstream.

It also seems like picking up a news organization's coverage of the 3000
would fit right in line with the HP State of the 3000 Product Address
speech for HP World -- last year's speech had Harry Sterling quoting
several media outlets that had covered the HP 3000. This segment of The
Executive Forum broadcast has a big advantage -- it's video that HP didn't
have to pay to produce, coming from an outside source.

But then, maybe the Executive Forum producers don't clips of their
broadcasts distributed. This might be where HP's corporate sponsorship of
the program could benefit the HP 3000 division.
